Features
& Benefits of Potty Training
|
By our
Potty Training Toolkit
you
can help overcome many problems
that your
child is facing with
regard to using the toilet.
Here are some
of the
problems that you can tackle :
|

|
improved hygiene - Dirty diapers are simply not sanitary and can lead to many skin irritations on your child's delicate skin. I know you love your child and want to do everything possible to make sure they are protected. Not having to wear diapers reduces the risk of skin infections and irritations.
|
Reduce stress - Let's face it. As parents we have enough to do. When I get home from work I have to get dinner ready, clean the house, help with homework, and get the kids ready for bed. The last thing I want to do is change more diapers.
|
Reduce pain - I don't know who invented the diaper bags, but they did not have me in mind. My back would ache for days after one trip to the grocery store carrying that heavy bag. When your child is potty trained, you don't have to carry a diaper bag anymore.
|
Free time - How long does it take you to get ready just to go to the store? First you have to get the kids ready. Then yourself. Then you have to pack the diaper bag.
You look for all the ointments. Grab a handful of diapers. Don't forget a bag of wipes. Wait, before you leave go get 2 or 3 extra outfits in case of an accident.
By the time you're done, you don't want to go anymore.
When your child is potty trained, all you have to do is get them dressed and walk out the door without having to pack a diaper bag or backup clothing.
|
Reduce laundry time - Laundry takes up probably 20% of my time. I don't know about you but I can think of other things I'd rather be doing.
Let me tell you what my routine was like. I am sure your day is the same way. I would take poop-soiled clothes and soak them for hours in a bucket of soap and water. Then I would reach in and pull out the clothes. Next I would put them in the washing machine.
I cannot explain the joy to you of not having to do that anymore.
|
Shop in peace - Shopping was the one thing that helped me to relax. But shopping became the most experience before my sons were potty trained.
I spent more time looking for bathrooms and changing tables than I did indulging myself in an afternoon of shopping.
Once your child is potty trained, shopping becomes pure enjoyment again.
|
Take a break - You see whenever our family went out together, The responsibility of taking the kids to the bathroom fell on my shoulder. It wasn't that my husband didn't want to take them, but most men's bathrooms didn't have changing tables.
After my kids were potty trained, it didn't matter who took them to the bathroom. When my husband took them I was able to get a nice break.
|
House odor - After a while you stop noticing the embarrassing odor of dirty diapers that take over the house. For me it was extremely embarrassing to have friends over. I actually had one friend who asked me "what that smell was"? I asked her "what smell"?
I wasn't trying to be funny. I simply did not notice it.
Once your child is potty trained, you won't have poop diapers in the house any more.
|
Better life - Overall your life will change for the better once your child is potty trained. You will find yourself much more relaxed.
For the first time in a long time you can plan more activities outside of the house. Many times I simply did not go places because of the hassles involved.
Trust me when I say, you will be much happier
|
Confidence - Your child does not want to have accidents more than you don't want him/her to have an accident.
I've found children that are potty trained, have more confidence and are more interactive in social settings with other kids. Their confidence level is up because they know they can control their potty and not have an embarrassing accident.
Watching them blossom at this stage is beautiful to watch.
